British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Direct Material Business Analyst in Bucharest
Responsible for the execution of the Business Analytics activities with their primary duties including:
- The role is responsible for delivering agile and fit for growth analytics in line with Global Directs Procurement Team and Category Strategies.
- Analytical output should challenge and optimise spend, specification and demand data whilst also taking into account supply strategies, business continuity, sustainability and supplier relationship management objectives.
- Full responsibility over the management and Direct Materials Beyond Spend Data analytical suite, ensuring a clear ongoing development plan linked to Category Manager feedback whilst aligning with a wider partner group.
- Additional tasking may include external research projects, specific category analytics making reports with recommendations to the company’s management and analysing the potential impact of their recommendations.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Define analytical reporting configuration specifications and business analysis requirements for the need of the Direct Materials Team and Category Managers
- Develop data model prototypes to assist D&I team solution development. Own and develop relationship with business partners, working with them to optimize and improve data integration avoiding duplication of activities.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to Data Scientists driving continue improvement.
- Communicate key insights and findings to Category Managers and Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
- Collaborate with key business touch points to validate provision data analysis.
- Identify and establishes scope and analytical parameters of requirements analysis on a category-by-category basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Coordinate UAT phase for new solutions sharing with key partners, capturing feedback, and tracking & validating corrective actions.
- Develop internal and external network to provide insights to the digitalization strategy based on relevant technology and business needs.
What are we looking for?
- Three to five years related work experience with business and technical requirements data gathering, analysis, modelling, verification, and visualization.
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Data Analytics and/or Big data manipulation experience represents a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks while under strong customer service orientation
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
- Advanced Working knowledge of Windows office systems including Power BI.
